About our $10,000 Initiative
What: The Company of Wolves the movie
$10,000 to reach more clients and increase the size of loans for current ones. We’re asking 2000 people to invest $5 into the women of Siete de Abril. At $5, just thirty people can give one woman the loan she needs to start or augment a business and start on her way to becoming an independent and empowered woman.
When: March 1st through May 31st. The second round of loans will begin in June.
Where: Anywhere, everywhere.
Why: In the midst of a challenging economy, we know people like you still want to make a difference. Your $5 works hard in La Ceiba, supporting one woman’s business, and another’s after she repays the loan and a new woman gets that loan money.
How: Through you! Donate on line by clicking on the donate tab at the top of this page, or e-mail us at laceibamicrofinance@gmail.com. Give $5 and find ten additional people who will do the same. It doesn’t have to be a long-term investment, but we are sure once you start hearing these women’s stories you are going to want to see where they’re headed.
